Contractor opportunities are provided for qualified applicants. If selected, you will be contracted as a "Self Employed Contractor" with the

​

PHILLY KIDZ INITIATIVE LLC,

​

and be responsible for paying your own State and Federal Taxes, as well as purchasing your own Health and Life Insurance, if needed.

 

The pay scale:

​

PA STATE CERTIFIED CURRENT OR RETIRED Teachers 

$30.00 per teaching hour.

​

STUDENT TEACHERS (on site at the school or attending college)

$20 per teaching hour

​

PHILADELPHIA SCHOOL DISTRICT AIDE/CLIMATE STAFF 

$16.00 per hour.

 

We need to fill positions in the following Programs:

 

Academic Homework Assistance

Science/Math/Reading Clubs

Sports/Physical Fitness

Instrumental Music/Choral/Vocal

Drama/Dance/Cooking

 

​The ideal candidates would be current or retired teachers or support staff of the Philadelphia School District, who have obtained all the necessary current and up-dated clearances required by the Department of Human Services (OCDEL).
